What an awesome event considering the weather. Again, huge photo dump sauce and details beloooow!
Starting with the first image of an always awesome F60 (that is what I call it) and this very rare yellow Ferrari 275. 1 of 25. Also, below you will see another awesome classic. It's a 1953 Ferrari 212 in a beautiful blue. The 2.5L V12 was glorious.
Many awesome racecars and personal vehicles. I was honored to be a judge. (photoshop me with caution lol)
The highlight of the day for me was one awesome dude that brought his 328 GTB. Unlike 90% of the other owners, he knew the year, model, engine size, HP and top speed of his car. IMPORTANT! OPPO, you peeps should of seen all the owners of and how very little they knew about their personal and expensive cars. I had to fill out basic info sheet and would ask the owner for example, "what size engine does your 456, Daytona, etc. have?" I promise OPPO, about 90% of the owners didn't have a clue. And not just older cars. A couple younger dudes came in their 458 Speciale or F12 and I would ask them the same. They had no clue. BUT!!!!!!! Like I mentioned, there was one super rad dude in the brown jacket and brown hat (coincidence?) in the picture below.
The guy was happy and smiling the whole time he was there. Complete opposite of the other semi smug owners. He would go out of his way and invite younger and older enthusiasts to have a seat in the car, look at the engine, and share his love for the car. Especially little kids. The parents would tell them "don't touch" and he would actually encourage it and ask if they wanted to sit inside for a picture. The kids would be smiling really big and it made him happy to see that enthusiasm and that the parents could take a good picture. The kids would leave happy wanting to own one a Ferrari after that point. Awesome dude. I was talking to him for a while and he asked if I owned one. I told him not yet but one day jokingly (Because Brokexican). He said that he is 60 years old and finally at a point where he could afford one. He loves everything about the car. He has only owned it for 2 weeks. This dude was 100% Jalop.
Lastly, I was taking to some of the RISI crew when I spotted a drone flying close to a power line. I was not aware we allowed drones to the event. It was moving around not 100% stable (wind and light misty rain). The RISI crew and the owners couldn't keep their eyes off of it and for good reason. These cars are expensive as hell! One of the RISI guys said, "if that thing flies anywhere near my racecars, i'm taking it out. I don't care who owns it, these are a million plus dollar racecars" Well sure enough, the drone started acting odd and pitched forward hard. It was hauling ass to Earth into a crowd of people and where Ferrari of Houston took some showroom cars near us. I shouted in a professional manner, "fucking shit that shit is falling dude watch out shiiit!!!!" It missed a crew member's head by 6 inches as it crashed hard on the ground. We were pissed and one dude was going to smash it on the ground. Of course, the dumb 15-16 year old with his iPhone said it was his and that the phone froze. They gave him an ear full but at the end just told him to put it away.
Awesome show but next year is the 10th anniversary. They are promising the Ferrari Festival of ALL Ferrari Festivals. The full !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! collection is going to be feature along with many other things. Can't wait!!!!
Lead tech for Risi built this using the transmission gear used in the 2008 GT2 class championship winning 430 GT RISI racecar at LeMans

![]() 11/17/2014 at 10:46 |
|
I think there was a recall for that. lol :]
![]() 11/17/2014 at 10:47 |

That guy sounds so awesome! He reminds of the owner of this MG at a car show I went to last summer. The guy invited every kid to come sit in it.
Coolest dude ever. He's retired and basically just road trips his TB to national parks and car shows.
![]() 11/17/2014 at 10:49 |

May I ask which one was your favorite? And also, which one was the most rare?
![]() 11/17/2014 at 10:50 |
|
I think that's a lambo, dude.
![]() 11/17/2014 at 10:50 |

This license plate made me giggle.

Ferraris:
Pretty, but these days you're paying just for branding... And besides, I'd buy a Viper over a Ferrari any day. Someone offers me a Ferrari and a Viper: sell the Ferrari for gas money for the Viper.

twisty wheels bro
![]() 11/17/2014 at 10:55 |

Rare goes to the yellow 275. 1 or 25 in the world. My fav at the show was a light blue F12, sooo rad. My personal fav tho is a 430 Scuderia 16M
![]() 11/17/2014 at 10:55 |
|
Agreed. The only Ferraris worth the money now are the 308s, Testarossa/512, 360 and 430. They're the only ones that can be had for mortal prices and actually driven, not just shuttled to car shows, yet are still awesome cars.
I'd take a Testarossa over a Viper at the same price, but I wouldn't take just about any other Ferrari over the Viper if I had to pay the price difference.
Ideally I'd like the Viper's drivetrain in a Testarossa body!
![]() 11/17/2014 at 10:57 |
|
Those people are awesome. Like meeting those sorts of people and hope to be like them one day with rad cars
![]() 11/17/2014 at 10:58 |

Is it 2003 or 2004 that are supposed to be the fastest F1 cars ever built?
![]() 11/17/2014 at 11:11 |
|
I'd have to look at lap records but I believe you are right. Certainly the best sounding. They didn''t start this one up but they did start up the 2000 car at Cars and Coffee. Sooo loud
![]() 11/17/2014 at 11:15 |
|
I'm pretty sure that's a lambo dude.
![]() 11/17/2014 at 11:15 |

Can't deal with the C6 Z06. Those headlights are sure ugly.

Is this a 550, 612, or something else? I can't quite tell from this angle.
![]() 11/17/2014 at 11:20 |
|
Same here. One day, I will have a car that everyone wants to look at, not something obscure that mostly gearheads only think is cool...
![]() 11/17/2014 at 11:21 |
|
it's very possible
![]() 11/17/2014 at 11:21 |

612 Scaglietti. It is sooo awesome

Excellent choices!

true true
![]() 11/17/2014 at 11:26 |

I mean, I dig the new C07, but the C4, C5, and C6 are terrible. The C1's a classic, the C2 is really cool and streamlined, and the C3 looks nice from above. The C7's modern, but the C4, 5, and 6 are the middle children that nobody loves. With good reason.
![]() 11/17/2014 at 11:26 |

These wheels are wonderful and I want them on my Honda.

![]() 11/17/2014 at 11:45 |

it was pretty rad and way harder than I thought to judge
![]() 11/17/2014 at 11:45 |

yes, a lot
![]() 11/17/2014 at 11:46 |

lol :]
![]() 11/17/2014 at 11:46 |
|
thanks buddy. Until next year!
![]() 11/17/2014 at 11:49 |
|
Hahaha, I imagine... How do you pick a winner among all of those perfectly kept cars, and do so without turning to personal preferences? If it was me, and someone showed up with a busted 250 GT, I would have to declare him the winner. :p
![]() 11/17/2014 at 11:49 |
|
Yeah I remember that. Necks snapping all over the place.
![]() 11/17/2014 at 11:49 |

seriously my favorite ferrari. If you can listen to sound at work, watch this:
![]() 11/17/2014 at 11:51 |
|
I went to this last year, looks like the attendance was even better this go round. Wish I had heard this was happening!
![]() 11/17/2014 at 12:08 |
|
I made a post last week lol. But I think more than anything, next will be the best show ever.
![]() 11/17/2014 at 12:08 |
|
lol right? People were running towards it :]
![]() 11/17/2014 at 12:09 |
|
that tiny V12 is glorious! Old school F1 all the way
![]() 11/17/2014 at 12:12 |
|
Must have missed it :-/ ah well, hopefully I'll make it next year.
![]() 11/17/2014 at 12:12 |
|
we had different categories. Best in show, best modern, best classic, Ladies choice, Children's choice, and Best racecar. Next year will be even better with the Glickenhaus collection
![]() 11/17/2014 at 12:13 |
|
I CAN'T STOP WATCHING
![]() 11/17/2014 at 12:17 |
|
The owner of that yellow one owned all the other yellow ones in that group along with 25 other Ferrari plus other exotics. The owner is some shady ass dude from Mexico DF.
![]() 11/17/2014 at 12:19 |
|
I assume by "shady ass dude from Mexico DF" you mean "Drug lord with a good taste in cars."
I bet he didn't know the specs
![]() 11/17/2014 at 12:22 |
|
Drug lord bazzilionaires are mostly in northern Mexico and all probably have 5 times as many cars as this guy. This dude is in the petroleum industry but is in politics as well. Corrupt in a more Murican way with lobbyists and all that jazz with business and political agendas lol :]
Oh and yes, had had no clue about any specs of his cars lol.

![]() 11/17/2014 at 13:27 |

I'd also like to see the LaFerrari next year as well hopefully.

An FXX was allowed to go somewhere other than a racetrack? I'm shocked. Was the owner allowed to touch it?
![]() 11/17/2014 at 14:33 |
|
Uly, was this open to public? Cos I wanted to go :(
![]() 11/17/2014 at 14:34 |
|
Give it to me. 10/10 would DD
Wife says, "but it has no roof."
Well, I guess I will get used to being rained on forever.
![]() 11/17/2014 at 14:35 |
|
BTW, this isn't rain, it's hair grease and olive oil because of all these Italians hanging around.
![]() 11/17/2014 at 14:36 |
|
LOL
![]() 11/17/2014 at 14:38 |

Marchionne sees this and starts singing Yesterday.
![]() 11/17/2014 at 14:48 |

fingers crossed. John Eagle of John Eagle Honda has due to get a One-77 Aston. I'll let OPPO know if it comes in
![]() 11/17/2014 at 14:48 |
|
It has to stay with the dealership. If the dealer takes it somewhere, it's cool.
![]() 11/17/2014 at 14:52 |
|
Yeah dude, free from 10-4. Our Network solutions was acting up and I couldn't read any of my emails let alone open it. I only have access to this at work and I don't open on the weekends. Next year though will be the time to come. The weather was pretty bad and it was cool. I will get you a VIP pass then now that I gained the trust of the organizers.
![]() 11/17/2014 at 14:52 |
|
exactly!!! 1,000,000,000% would DD!!!!
![]() 11/17/2014 at 14:53 |

Probably regular parking lot oil. This car was just recently restored
![]() 11/17/2014 at 14:53 |
|
lol I had no clue it said that
![]() 11/17/2014 at 14:53 |
|
lol, hopefully they come back to this
![]() 11/17/2014 at 14:57 |

I want to see McLaren win another championship and constructors first, but I would be ok with this.
![]() 11/17/2014 at 15:13 |
|
I reset my phone a few weeks ago and lost your number. Can you send a text my way so I can save your number again? I should have written down all my contacts before resetting. Although now I can save contacts on my Google thingy so I don't have to worry about losing contacts again.
![]() 11/17/2014 at 15:28 |
|
That's just crazy to me...the whole idea behind the FXX is just insane...."buy" a car, you can't have it...
![]() 11/17/2014 at 15:53 |
|
This is the only car related thing I saw in the last few days:
My new (old, found them in my war chest) desk ornaments
Matchbox made in Lensey, England GT40, Jaguar D-Type, and a Corgi F-4 Phantom that was on my dad's final aircraft carrier cruise.
![]() 11/17/2014 at 15:59 |
|
RISI will gladly take it to any of their events on the TUSCC schedule though
![]() 11/17/2014 at 16:03 |
|
I was waiting for your message/post but I look forward to other cool events you know of. Just a heads up would be nice :)
I don't even need VIP passes (although that would be cool).
And for future communication emergencies, we need to devise smoke signals or career pigeons or something...I promise, I won't lick a single car if I get invited! :D
![]() 11/17/2014 at 16:10 |
|
Will the trailer it to the track if I want to play with it that day?
![]() 11/17/2014 at 16:10 |
|
NIIIIIIIIIIIICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Heck yeah hold on to those
![]() 11/17/2014 at 16:12 |
|
They can store a lot of cars in the top layer f those red trailer in the photos above. But yes, they hold events year round not just for TUSCC and upon request, they can take it
![]() 11/17/2014 at 16:13 |
|
i'll email you my number in a sec
![]() 11/17/2014 at 16:22 |

Ought to get someone to repaint them
![]() 11/17/2014 at 16:39 |

My guys are pretty good with custom work
![]() 11/17/2014 at 16:43 |
|
That works :)
You're the best!
![]() 11/19/2014 at 10:06 |
|
One of these things is not like the others!
One of them doesn't belong!
![]() 11/19/2014 at 10:56 |
|
lol, nobody participating in the event really cared about the VW's. We did reserve a sport for them......across the street lol! The Huracan and Aventador that were next to each other were from the dealer in town so we let the have a spot close. They were going to bring an LM002 also but it was too bulky for their remaining flat bed.
